My Weight Journey

Alright everyone time to get real!

I've talked in the past about my lacking motivation for working out. Well here we go, I am MOTIVATED! My summer vacation is booked and I did gain quite a bit of weight in the last year. Not that it is about the numbers but there are certain areas, such as my thighs and tummy, that I really want firmer, not to mention I want to feel confident and proud on the beach!

I also want to be healthier and make sure to balaynce other aspects like stress, food and sleep. So I'm really aiming for a way healthier lifestyle in general. Jumping into this I follow a lot of workout accounts on Pinterest and Instagram that put up really easy to follow workouts and food tips so my plan is to follow those as much as possible and make smart food choices. I think that a huge factor will be the fact that my schedule during school was hectic and always changing so consistency was not easy to maintain. Now that I’m settling  into a new and consistent routine I hope that helps push me to be more serious about working out.

The dream would be to tone up my body, eat healthier, feel healthier ad more energetic and honestly just feel better overall. I get sick pretty often so I'm hoping to get that lowered in the process. I am also planning on documenting quite a bit of this to keep push myself.

The plan
Here's my plan! I want to workout 3-5 times a week. I know this sounds like a lot but I'll be happy even if it's a shorter workout or an hour on the treadmill. Anything is better than no workout at all!

Ideally, I would workout during the week, for example in the evening after work, and keep my weekends as a break time. That way my weekends can truly be calming and a refresh, while the week is my hustle and bustle time.

I am focusing on my abs, thighs and bum areas but I also want to tone up my arms, legs, etc. overall. So I plan to do workouts which focus on my target areas but adding in different exercises for total body too!
