Low budget Fall (lockdown) date ideas

Hey gems!
How is everyone doing? Recently I have had to get super creative when it comes to date nights especially with the new lockdown we are limited in where we can go. So of course date night often include walks because not only is it great to get fresh air but it helps with the mental components of being stuck inside. We get tired of them quick though and need to mix it up during the week so here is what I came up with!

Turn TV into games:
You can chose any show or movie you are watching and turn it into a game! For example, every time a certain character says their catch phrase you either take a bite, drink or do something silly that you both agree on! it can be something silly or answering any question! This basically gets as creative as you want to!

Newlywed game (quiz)
Basically any type of quizzing each other on how well you know each other! We did this with my sister and her boyfriend as a competition but it can be fun just between the two of you as well! This is super cute and also ends up being a fun way to always learn new things about each other. 

Couple workouts
Especially int these stressful times I've found exercise really helpful so this is really something important. This way not only do you stay fit and healthy but working out together, trying new types of exercise like yoga, weight lifting, etc. 

Indoor camping
Set yourself up an indoor picnic, some twinkle lights, a nice spread of food and cozy pillows and blankets. You can't go wrong with some cute entertainment music or movies. Its the perfect way to make a simple movie night a little more special.

Cooking surprise
You can also surprise cook meals for each other. Take turns setting up who needs to cook and don't tell the others what you'll be making. This is a cute way to try new things, surprise each other and get some new recipes tried. Plus who doesn't like being spoiled by their loved one :)

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. Dear 2020, You certainly threw us for a loop didn’t you? We were all chanting about 20/20 vision and you thought “Ha just wait and see!”. Not only did you show us just how quickly we can lose everything we thought we would always have, you have given us a new appreciation for things we used to let go unnoticed.  In March, we all thought we were getting a fun two weeks of break, two weeks working from home, a little fun time. Boy oh boy did we learn pretty quick that we would be home and confided longer and with more restrictions added on weekly.  At first, part of me loved it.
