Back again: A life recap!

Hey gems! Wow, I just saw my blog and realized no content has come up since July. How crazy! From posting almost weekly to disappearing, it has been an interesting few months.  Let me catch you up on all that has been going on! Firstly, with the ups and downs of the pandemic, I am excited to say that work has been very busy. This is a positive problem and one that is helpful but also taxing mentally. Working in PR during a pandemic has been an extremely challenging time! I am very excited to see things slowly but surely returning to normal. Other than work, we have been preparing for our move which is now in full effect! We are spending evenings and weekends cleaning and on constant calls with various people and deliveries. We are excited to see all the planning come to fruition as we start to get some furniture in the coming weeks! You can expect a full breakdown of the process, changes and final product coming soon! On top of all of this are the other variety of things happ...

Tia Things

Hey there my gems, It feels like a lifetime since I've last posted. I mentioned finding a new routine and I definitely underestimated how much time and adapting that would take between graduation and starting a full time job. I missed blogging but I honestly have been to sleepy to get out my laptop and type! So here I am, back in the groove and trying to focus on what I love! Since my blog is called Tia Things, I thought it might be fun to add a Tia Things segment where everything and anything can be talked about! Girl chat, life issues, Q & As, etc. Today I'm keeping it simple and talking about my new obsessions, routines- or attempts at routines- and some discoveries I made! SO over the last few weeks a few things have become crystal clear! 1. I need to stop drinking Starbucks because my bank account cannot handle it and it is WAY too embarrassing when the barista knows your name and order by heart! 2. Sleep is everything. I need to rest, at the very least, but...

Where I've Been

I'm back my gems! I definitely have been less present both on this blog and on my social medias. I wanted to give you all a quick update on where I've been and what's been going on. Also can we take a second to appreciate the fact that summer is that much closer! So for starters, I've had so much going on that I had to take a little break from the blog and prioritize life. School has been hectic but in four weeks and two exams I'll officially be a GRADUATE!!!!! It's crazy to think that university is so close to over, I think a part of me will honestly miss it. Not to mention, growing up is absolutely terrifying but it's time and I AM READY!!! First, as you all know on top of school I also have an internship in television which I adore! I'm almost done and it's so bitter sweet but I've been working really hard at it and it's led to something new.... Your girl has a job! I now have a full time job as of my last day of school!!! I'm sup...

Heartbeats: Flutter, Break and Remix

Image
Hey guys, This post will be a little different, more serious than any of my others and honestly I'm nervous. I know that so many people have gone through similar situations so I feel that it would be really beautiful to share. I re-wrote this about six times trying to find the right balance between personal, private and honest… so here goes nothing. The truth is my first relationship was about a year and a half long during and after high school. This first relationship was the Flutter . The relationship started fine, and then went downhill fast. There was a lot of disrespect and condescension and I made every excuse possible as to why it was acceptable. I thought about ending it multiple times but always decided to stay, to give it one more shot, to try harder. It was me, I could make it better, etc. The truth is I thought letting go meant giving up, but I was so wrong. Only the strongest people can see so clearly and be so brave, as to let go of something they want so bad. F...
