Where I've Been

I'm back my gems!
I definitely have been less present both on this blog and on my social medias. I wanted to give you all a quick update on where I've been and what's been going on. Also can we take a second to appreciate the fact that summer is that much closer!

So for starters, I've had so much going on that I had to take a little break from the blog and prioritize life. School has been hectic but in four weeks and two exams I'll officially be a GRADUATE!!!!! It's crazy to think that university is so close to over, I think a part of me will honestly miss it. Not to mention, growing up is absolutely terrifying but it's time and I AM READY!!!

First, as you all know on top of school I also have an internship in television which I adore! I'm almost done and it's so bitter sweet but I've been working really hard at it and it's led to something new.... Your girl has a job! I now have a full time job as of my last day of school!!! I'm super excited to have this secured and be able to be moving forward and into a new chapter of my life. I can't wait to update you all on that once it starts!

Next up, I've been spending a lot of time on extra work hours and trying to build up some hours since I don't get paid at my internship! That means my schedule has been way more hectic than usual but I'm pushing through! The last few weeks have been crazy but things are falling back into place now and looking up!

Finally!!!! I decided that there was no reason to stress about the blog. I love the blog and getting messages from you all, but at the end of the day it's a hobby and I need to remember where my focus needs to be.

 Hi Gems,  Wow it has been a while. The last time I wrote and published on here was in October which honestly feels like a lifetime. Furniture shopping

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. We also have been very budget conscious in the whole process and the table was a great price for a larger size so this was a no-brainer.  The next main items I picked out are decor because I had some very specific ideas like a gallery wall and big mirrors! She's a wife!

Hi gems, after soooo much time away from the blog I am back with a life update! I have now been married for a month and had the most incredible honeymoon! We are just getting back home and resetting into a routine. The switch back to reality isn't an easy one but we are still on cloud nine from the events of the summer so that certainly helps! So with that said I think we are well overdo on a life update! Your girl is welcoming fall after a month in Europe and an incredible summer! Not only did my bestfriends get married in the most magical day, but we got to have a summer filled with so many celebrations. Summer 2024 will go down in the history books for sure as a summer of love. I also had another major life change earlier in the summer, I changed job! After five years at an agency, with the people I loved and who taught me so much. I got an opportunity at a company that is HUGE and rated a top company to work for. The job itself and benefits made it a deal I could not turn down....
