Makeup Madness

Hey guys!
I'm so excited or today's blog! I am not the kind of girl to wear makeup everyday, a little mascara  if I have time and I'm out the door. But that all changes if I'm going to an event or a party! I will get ready hours early and make sure my face is looking just right! I love it when I get the chance to go all out on my makeup, its always so fun to try new things, add new colors and have some fun!

**All of my makeup products which are on this blog are drugstore products and super affordable. The only product which isn't drugstore bought is the Becca Highlight, and although it's a bit more expensive it's totally worth it! I've had mine for over a year and it's not near being finished so definitely a good investment to make.**


Mascara
My mascara is my best friend, on a lazy day or getting ready for a night out, it makes all the difference. Not only is Mascara a quick and easy way to add to your look, but it's inexpensive and you have an infinity of products to choose from. My current Mascara is the Maybelline Lash Temptation, but I tend to try new products every few months. I love any mascara with a big brush to allow for some dynamic lashes that will be so long they will feel heavy! That's when you know it's working! I also love the possibilities when it comes to lashes such as stick on's, lash lifts, extensions, etc. Lashes are so fun but if you're on a budget the best way to go about it is to find yourself that fave mascara and stick to it.


Highlight
MY OBSESSION is the Becca Champagne pop Highlight! It's a gold tone which suits my skin tone really nicely and gives a huge POP of shine without looking sweaty or over the top! Highlight is definitely one of my favorite aspects of full face makeup because it gives such an instant effect. It doesn't take high levels of skill or precision, just a brush and some powder and you're good to go!
I also use the Maybelline Master Strobbing Liquid highlight on occasion, this highlight had a purple hues to it and is  much more extravagant. I mostly use it as eye shadow when I want to go for a drastically sparkly look, but I mostly stick to the Becca Highlight as a go-to for my face.

Contour kit
Face Palette's have been a little bit tricky for me, I've tried a few and didn't like how the powder held, felt, or the tones. I tried this Quo Down to Earth Face Palette out on a whim and I am never going back! It has a Bronzers, blushes, and a simple highlight for a more basic look, but layer on that Bronzer and you're ready for the night out on the town! I love look of some popping cheekbones!

Lipstick 
Lipstick is another great way to add a big pop to your look, without much effort or time. A red lip gives a sassy and fashion trendy look in 2 minutes. I absolutely love adding the Revlon Ultra Matte lipstick to any black and white outfit! It adds a little pop of color that goes a long way.

Concealers
Yup that's right, I use multiple concealers. I get tired easily, and it shows, so I use a few different concealers which I love to work away my tired eyes. Not to mention I also have shades of green and yellow with are made to cover break outs or red spots. I mostly rely on my Essence Concealers. They were a great price, by a smaller company and work great!

Setting Spray
Setting spray is a must if you are sending hours putting on that makeup to perfection, your best friend s setting spray! Not only will it keep your makeup intact the way it looked when it was fresh, but it will prevent from the makeup moving as you move, smile, frown, sweat, etc. That might sound weird but it's totally real. So! I have been using the Clarins Fix Make Up for over 3 years! The bottle cost 30$ at the pharmacy and its only down to half, AFTER 3 YEARS!!!!! If you want to get the biggest bang for your buck, definitely look into this product!
