Summer Skin Routine

Image
Hey gems! So the summer has had a lot of ups and downs and the pandemic is still affecting a lot of us. That being said I am spending so much time outside in the sun this year that I noticed my skin reacting and needed to change up my skin care routine! 1. Hydrating My skin has never been oily or dry it's always just in the middle depending on the day. What I found is that it was so dry, flaking off and no matter how much I moisturized it didn't improve. I started drinking tones more water and noticed almost immediately that my skin was much more hydrated too and not at all flaking. I now try to drink 4-8 water bottles everyday and my skin is thriving!! Not to mention all the other benefits that come along with this! 2. Low/No makeup Because of the gloriousness that is WFH, my skin has gotten a great break from makeup, my pores have a new life and I am way more confident being without makeup for every Zoom call. Don't get me wrong I love getting dressed up once a week to go...

Winter Skin Care Routine

Image
Hey my gems! I thought you might like to know my Winter skin care routine and how it differs from my normal skincare routine. The cold and the dry weather definitely affect my skin so here's my routine and my products! Morning: Full body moisture! I've used different moisturizers for my body but I am currently using the Nivea Deep Care and Repair and love the deep moisture it gives my skin. It also has some coconut and I love the feeling. For my face I use the Celeste Face moisturizer from Lush. I'm absolutely obsessed with it, it's not too heavy, but definitely enough that I feel the difference. Mid day: This depends on whether I'm home or not, if I'm at school I have a portable hand moisturizer which I apply after lunch- don't ask me why the time is so specific it just works! However if I'm home I tend to stay away from moisturizing mid day because I didn't go into the cold and don't want to constantly overwhelm my skin. Evening: The ...

Fab Fit Fun

Image
It happened! My Fall box has arrived and it is my first ever Fab Fit Fun purchase! I'm going to work through the various steps, favorite products and my thoughts on FFF as a whole! So when you first sign up (before paying) you take this really cute quiz which asks questions about your interests like health, fitness, beauty, etc. and then asks about your personal traits like your hair type and color, your skin type, etc. I really liked the quiz because it made me feel like they actually cared about my needs and not just selling me random things. So some of my favorite products from the Fall box were the Tote bag, the Bubble Face Mask, the body wash, and the bath suds, Surprisingly, the products that are my favorite are a majority of the products which are sent to everyone and not the "choice" products. The Vince Camuto Luck Tote was a choice and I do love the size and quality of it, it's super useful for school, work, etc. As soon as I opened the box, the fir...

Makeup Madness

Image
Hey guys! I'm so excited or today's blog! I am not the kind of girl to wear makeup everyday, a little mascara  if I have time and I'm out the door. But that all changes if I'm going to an event or a party! I will get ready hours early and make sure my face is looking just right! I love it when I get the chance to go all out on my makeup, its always so fun to try new things, add new colors and have some fun! **All of my makeup products which are on this blog are drugstore products and super affordable. The only product which isn't drugstore bought is the Becca Highlight, and although it's a bit more expensive it's totally worth it! I've had mine for over a year and it's not near being finished so definitely a good investment to make.** Mascara My mascara is my best friend, on a lazy day or getting ready for a night out, it makes all the difference. Not only is Mascara a quick and easy way to add to your look, but it's inexpensive and yo...
