Quarantine Discoveries and Favourites

Image
Hey gems,  As quarantine is slowly ending where I am from, I took a bit of a look back and wanted to share some of my favourite moments and discoveries that came out of this really weird time.  1. Happiness Class Thats right ladies and gentlemen, I am now a Yale graduate... Well almost. I took a class on Coursera - which is an amazing platform of free online classes. The class was called The Science of Wellbeing and it was offered by Yale University FOR FREE. That's right: Yale and free. I loved this class I feel like the timing and learning of the subject was just so useful in the scenario of the pandemic and the anxiety that comes along with it. I definitely would highly suggest for anyone who is struggling with anxiety or who generally would enjoy some wellbeing focused learning. It honestly was similar to listening to a podcast in the background of my day and so soothing. 2. Working from home Gathering and self-isolation restrictions meant my company had us all work remot...

Quarantine Talks

Image
Hey gems, I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe! I wanted to write a blog for the longest time but my energy just hasn't been in it!! I am working from home at the moment and working on multiple side projects that are just eating away the days- which is mostly a good thing! Time is flying and going slow at the same time does that make any sense? So here is a little update on my life and what's been going on with me! This is definitely taking up way more time than I initially meant for it to but it's a good thing for now and only during quarantine so pretty soon, things will be back to calmer and this will be such a great learning experience. I am also taking an online class which I am loving and I already picked out my next online class which will add to my social media knowled...

Okay gems we are deep into winter and it's time to acknowledge the fact that it's cold as F***!! So here are some things that I've been obsessing over all winter and that have really helped make the difference in 2019 so far! Masks Okay I have never been one to swear by face masks or use them that frequently. This season though I've definitely been working on my skin's health and working hard to keep it hydrated, not to mention the fab fit fun box provided the masks! (PS. I cant wait to get my spring box!!!!) So this Winter I've been doing 1-2 face masks a week, and using different ones depending on what my skin is looking like on that week. When I need a rougher scrub I use the Lush Coffee mask, if I need a smoother, calming, foaming scrub, it's always a mint mask and finally, for a refresh I love the Hydrating overnight mask by La Neige. Makeup I know I've mentioned before that makeup isn't consistent for me but since my new job is mo...
