My 2019 Winter Musts

Okay gems we are deep into winter and it's time to acknowledge the fact that it's cold as F***!!
So here are some things that I've been obsessing over all winter and that have really helped make the difference in 2019 so far!
Masks
Okay I have never been one to swear by face masks or use them that frequently. This season though I've definitely been working on my skin's health and working hard to keep it hydrated, not to mention the fab fit fun box provided the masks! (PS. I cant wait to get my spring box!!!!) So this Winter I've been doing 1-2 face masks a week, and using different ones depending on what my skin is looking like on that week. When I need a rougher scrub I use the Lush Coffee mask, if I need a smoother, calming, foaming scrub, it's always a mint mask and finally, for a refresh I love the Hydrating overnight mask by La Neige.

Makeup
I know I've mentioned before that makeup isn't consistent for me but since my new job is more of an office position where I meet clients, I definitely have been wearing more and trying to look more presentable. I usually find makeup a chore unless I'm in the mood but it's been really fun this winter because I've been able to change up my routines and try different routines.

Body scrub
My skin is definitely a roller coaster when it comes to the winter. No product means too dry, too much means too oily and random breakouts are always keeping me on my toes. This winter I started using the Body Shop's Coconut body scrub and I'm addicted. Not only is it refreshing and exfoliating, it's not too harsh! This isn't an everyday use but when needed it provides the fresh skin that I love.

Blankets & Coziness
This might sound a little weird because I'm obviously not carrying a blanket around with me, but when I'm relaxing, which is not as often as I honestly need, the cozier my atmosphere and environment the better. This also means that when I need a more relaxing daytime set up, I wore cozier clothing that made the day easier to get through. This was definitely limited because I can't wear sweatpants to work, but it made the cozy times so much more worth it!

So those are my current must haves my gems! Stay tuned because spring is (HOPEFULLY) around the corner and I'm more than ready!
