Book Review: Bailey Brothers

 Good morning gems,

welcome to another blog about... you guessed it BOOKS! I read a 5 book series by Claire Kingsley this week called The Bailey Brothers. The five books follow four brother through a tumultuous few years where everything from prison to unexpected pregnancies happen. The books really create a gorgeous family dynamic that makes readers root for the brothers from the get go. There is nothing like loving every character in a book and then watching each grow by having their own books!

Book 1 & 2 follow the oldest brother Asher in his love story and eventually in a huge 7 year jump due to a very sad turn of events. This duet encompasses all brothers and the repercussions of a tragic day hit the family for the three following books. I don't want to spoil things but the romance for Asher is really kicked off immediately when his childhood best friend comes home from college and he gets his head out of his ass. When all is basically a hallmark movie is when a huge turn of events happens and the whole cast of characters need to pivot. The second book brings us seven years forward and we get to see the followthrough.

Book 3 follows Gavin, the youngest of the brothers, the one who seems to not have any fears and who keeps everyone holding their breath with his wild boy actions. He falls for... you guessed it... the one girl he can't have. How he pivots through this, learns what love is and really grows into a man in this book you follow him and also learn about how the tragedies of his life hit him much more than anyone thought.

Book 4 follows one of our beloved twins, the middle children technically, Logan. This book is highly anticipated because through books 1-3 we watch Logan bicker and argue with one particular woman and as a reader you definitely get a VIBE (if you know what I mean) **wink wink**. This finally comes to a boiling point and things take a wildly unexpected turn as characters need to support the couple in life changes, close encounters with death and more!

Book 5 is where we finally get under the skin of the quiet, cool, calm and collected twin Levi. He is a much more background character as he is much less boisterous and spotlight prone than his siblings. His love story is one that really is being discreetly hinted at throughout the series but we get a whole town involved in book 5 and there is nothing I love more then some good old family drama!

The series was not one a free kindle read, but it was an easy, fun and entertaining story that really had me dying to start each book. Shoutout to Claire Kingsley who has a die hard fan in me now!

Talk soon,

Tia
