Okay gems!
Let’s get real! Some people love the bachelor franchise and some hate it! I’m the first to say that the show is not the most realistic and definitely for those of us who are hopeless romantics! BUT I LOVE IT! Listen, the bachelor franchise has a lot of drama, reality, not so real moments and a lot of gossip! It might be hard to fathom why a 20 something girl with multiple jobs and a full time school schedule would possibly waste time watching a show that offers absolutely nothing to her life. Let me tell you that’s EXACTLY why I watch! I want to turn my brain off and watch someone else’s life while I take a break from mine! Also TV drama is so juicy!!!

Let’s talk about Colton! Yes he’s a virgin and no I’m not going to even waste time on that aspect because it’s so overrated and way too talked about! The man is waiting for the one, what else is there to say? Rare, sure, but not any less valid than someone who hasn’t waited for the one! He's an adult and he made that decision for himself, good for him.

Now I don’t know about all of you, but I’ve been team Cassie for a while and I found it so obvious that she was Colton’s top pick! Especially last night when we saw the Taysha date vs the Cassie date. He was so excited to see Cassie and constantly talking about how much he cared for her and was falling for her, not to mention when she left he absolutely admitted that she was his number one when he said it wouldn’t be worth it if he ended up with someone other than the person he saw the most potential with. SO BAM now we know!

The question then becomes, will he end the show early? Continue the show? Going after Cassie kind of makes sense, but then how will he explain that to Taysha and Hannah? It's definitely a tough situation my gems, but at the end of the day he's going to do what he needs to do and we can only let it be!

The women tell all didn't have any "AH HA" moments for me but I do have to say. I think that the whole pacifier situation was disgusting. Yes, some women thought Demi was immature and yes sometimes she acted so on the show, but in NO WAY does that allow anyone to shove a pacifier in her mouth that is absolutely unacceptable. She wasn't everyone's cup of tea, sure, but who the hell has the right to be so disrespectful? No one. And she responded and reacted in a classy way and didn't let any of the other women get her riled which I was impressed with.

 Hi Gems,  Wow it has been a while. The last time I wrote and published on here was in October which honestly feels like a lifetime. Furniture shopping

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. We also have been very budget conscious in the whole process and the table was a great price for a larger size so this was a no-brainer.  The next main items I picked out are decor because I had some very specific ideas like a gallery wall and big mirrors! She's a wife!

Hi gems, after soooo much time away from the blog I am back with a life update! I have now been married for a month and had the most incredible honeymoon! We are just getting back home and resetting into a routine. The switch back to reality isn't an easy one but we are still on cloud nine from the events of the summer so that certainly helps! So with that said I think we are well overdo on a life update! Your girl is welcoming fall after a month in Europe and an incredible summer! Not only did my bestfriends get married in the most magical day, but we got to have a summer filled with so many celebrations. Summer 2024 will go down in the history books for sure as a summer of love. I also had another major life change earlier in the summer, I changed job! After five years at an agency, with the people I loved and who taught me so much. I got an opportunity at a company that is HUGE and rated a top company to work for. The job itself and benefits made it a deal I could not turn down....
