New Year Obsessions

With the new year kicking off I have a few new finds and obsessions that I am LIVING for! Some skin care, fashion and randoms!

Argon oil
Okay so for the first time in my life, which is way too late, I walked into The Body Shop. I discovered the nicest staff members, who were so sweet and patient with my billions of questions and introduced me to Argon oil, which is really similar to Coconut oil. I bought the oil in a spray form and I spray my whole body about three times a week. Especially in the winter, with my skin drying out super fast. I absolutely love the feeling the oil gives my skin and it gets rubbed in so easily that it doesn't just stay there and leave you oily and unable to move! I'm a moisturizing freak so this is definitely something I'm super happy about!

Robe
So for Christmas I got THE SOFTEST robe! It's gorgeous, cozy and I'm obsessed! I have never had a robe before that I actually used, and then I outgrew them when I really wanted one. My life was just a mess of robes. SO NOW, I finally have a gorgeous, soft, pink, floor length robe that I can waltz around in and daydream about being Queen. Honestly, who would turn that down? Not to mention robes are literally blankets with arm holes, and based on my obsessions with blanket scarves you gems know I love me some blankets!

Quotes and stuff
Okay so if you follow my Instagram (@Tiathingsblog)  you'll get lots of cute pics but also A LOT of daily-or almost daily- motivation! I've been finding so many powerful and inspirational quotes lately and I love sharing them on my page and my stories! I also have added them around my room and work area because when you turn a page and read a motivational quote its SO inspiring! This isn't exactly a new discovery but something I've found a new appreciation for and also goes with my love for Pinterest! (@TiaThings on Pinterest)

Bandannas
Okay so again this isn't a new trend, but my love for it has been reincarnated! Who wants to wear a hat when their bun or pony tail is absolutely perfect? No one, that's who. Winter bandannas are the greatest creation for those of us who have non-cooperative hair and who cannot risk messing up that bun or it's game over. Keep those ears warm, that hair on fleek and your look flawless!

Those are my new obsessions as the Winter gets colder! I'm sure as it warms back up I'll find some new ones too! Do you use any of these products? Let me know I'd love to hear!

 Hi Gems,  Wow it has been a while. The last time I wrote and published on here was in October which honestly feels like a lifetime. As the holidays came and went, we rang in the new year and I find myself thinking a lot about not only lessons learned this year but the direction I want to aim for when going into 2024.  As you may know if you follow my other platforms, I am getting married this year which feels surreal! Furniture shopping

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. We also have been very budget conscious in the whole process and the table was a great price for a larger size so this was a no-brainer.  The next main items I picked out are decor because I had some very specific ideas like a gallery wall and big mirrors! She's a wife!

Hi gems, after soooo much time away from the blog I am back with a life update! I have now been married for a month and had the most incredible honeymoon! We are just getting back home and resetting into a routine. The switch back to reality isn't an easy one but we are still on cloud nine from the events of the summer so that certainly helps! So with that said I think we are well overdo on a life update! Your girl is welcoming fall after a month in Europe and an incredible summer! Not only did my bestfriends get married in the most magical day, but we got to have a summer filled with so many celebrations. Summer 2024 will go down in the history books for sure as a summer of love. I also had another major life change earlier in the summer, I changed job! After five years at an agency, with the people I loved and who taught me so much. I got an opportunity at a company that is HUGE and rated a top company to work for. The job itself and benefits made it a deal I could not turn down....
