Quarantine with T

Hey gems,
I know times are tough right now and depending on where you are your life is affected in all kinds of different ways.

Right now in my area we are on lock down and we are effectively in quarantine. I am not sick, nor is my family, but we are choosing to stay away from the public just to keep ourselves as safe as possible.

I know people have very varying opinions based on where they are, their rules, those around them, etc. to  each their own is definitely something I am seeing a lot of, but at the end if the day let's all try to do our part and keep each other safe.

Here are a few things I've been doing during the lock down that have been super helpful!!

1. Scheduling
By making schedules for everyday, whether it be days where I am working from home or the weekend, has been a super helpful tool. If I don't make these schedules I feel like my time isn't used at all and I end up spending my whole weekends binge watching and my weekdays taking no mental breaks.

2. Fresh air
This has been key to me as I have been taking walks when possible, and when I am not in the mood or there is bad weather, I workout to get my body moving regardless. Workouts really can't be compared to how good the fresh air feels though!

3. Friends
We are so blessed to be in a digital era where we can facetime, text, call, snap, and so much more. We have so many ways to stay in touch and communicate through this time and it is so important for us to be thankful for what we can do rather than what we can't.

4. Dance
Guys this might sound dumb, but I swear to you, the best thing I've been doing is dance breaks. If I can't go out I take a minute and just dance around my desk and it is so satisfying, so good for the soul! Let your energy out in a way that will make you smile and DANCE!

I truly hope you are all healthy and safe reading this and I'm sending positive vibes to you all!
