Hey gems,

I know it’s been a while but get ready because the blog is about to be busy with lots of content! If you follow my Instagram or twitter (@tiathingsblog) you know I was away for the last few weeks and am finally back home!!!

This vacation couldn’t have come at a better time for me. Everyone needs a mental break every once in a while and this was definitely mine. Some family time, best friend time and lots of sunshine was exactly what I needed, not to mention TONES of shopping.

One of the highlights was visiting the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, where we got to see dolphins up close and personal, their training sessions and learn more about their rehabilitation. Every animal at the Aquarium is a rescue animal, from dolphins missing fins due to fishing nets(check out the movie Dolphin tales or www.seewinter.com) to sea turtles who lost their sight due to being hit by boat propellers. All animals are given a home and a second chance!

As some may know from my previous "Biggest Fears” blog, I am terrified of the ocean, but this experience was so moving and beautiful that I never felt so connected to the ocean. I’m also proud to report that I was able to work my way into the ocean little by little and eventually was able to stay in and float! Not something I thought I’d be able to accomplish in only two weeks but I’m so happy that I did!

 Other than that the vacation was a great mix of calm and busy. We did go out at night a few times visiting rooftops and clubs, but also had very chill evenings where we stayed in and binged some Love Island!
Coming home I definitely feel a renewal of energy and I’m ready to get back into life full force! Work starts tomorrow, but I also want to prioritize the blog more than I have been, including the Instagram and Twitter!! Another goal is to focus on my health.

In the last two months alone I’ve gotten severely sick twice and had very long recoveries. I definitely want to focus on staying healthy and finding ways to boost my energy and stay healthy! If you have any tips send them my way!!

 Hi Gems,  Wow it has been a while. The last time I wrote and published on here was in October which honestly feels like a lifetime. Furniture shopping

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. We also have been very budget conscious in the whole process and the table was a great price for a larger size so this was a no-brainer.  The next main items I picked out are decor because I had some very specific ideas like a gallery wall and big mirrors! She's a wife!

Hi gems, after soooo much time away from the blog I am back with a life update! I have now been married for a month and had the most incredible honeymoon! We are just getting back home and resetting into a routine. The switch back to reality isn't an easy one but we are still on cloud nine from the events of the summer so that certainly helps! So with that said I think we are well overdo on a life update! Your girl is welcoming fall after a month in Europe and an incredible summer! Not only did my bestfriends get married in the most magical day, but we got to have a summer filled with so many celebrations. Summer 2024 will go down in the history books for sure as a summer of love. I also had another major life change earlier in the summer, I changed job! After five years at an agency, with the people I loved and who taught me so much. I got an opportunity at a company that is HUGE and rated a top company to work for. The job itself and benefits made it a deal I could not turn down....
