Graduation Time!

Hey there my gems,
Long time no talk! It definitely has been a busy time as the school year is wrapping up. How are you all been doing? I have been super busy but the good news is: TODAY IS MY OFFICIAL LAST DAY! As everything is coming to an end, this is much more then just another end of semester. For those of you who don't know, I'm graduating this May!

Graduation is a huge milestone, but it has been extremely bitter sweet for me. Not only have I always loved school but I also really enjoyed University specifically. My program, classes and teachers, were all amazing, which makes it so much harder to say goodbye.

Although this last semester was the hardest yet, it also had my internship which was a highlight and I got a job offer! So many great things have happened this semester and although it's been a long one, I'm so proud of myself for not only the last semester but the last three years.

I'm so excited tot start my new job in PR, get into a new routine, and end the hectic three job and full-time student schedule that I have right now. Not going to lie my graduation pictures made me slightly emotional. Then again, there's no guarantee that I won't come back for a Master degree, just a goodbye for now! From what I hear once school is over and you jump into the full-time sphere you never want to go back! I just want to be in it, start and live it up!

Today I had a super hectic morning, and got a huge wake up call when my "happy" moment was being approved for a credit increase. I had an "AH HA" moment where I felt like such an adult.

The next 5 to 10 years are going to bring so much change I can't wait to see where things go! I hope there is travel, love, friendship and a BOSS career coming up! Good news is, you'll all be with me along the way!

 Hi Gems,  Wow it has been a while. The last time I wrote and published on here was in October which honestly feels like a lifetime. As the holidays came and went, we rang in the new year and I find myself thinking a lot about not only lessons learned this year but the direction I want to aim for when going into 2024.  As you may know if you follow my other platforms, I am getting married this year which feels surreal! Furniture shopping

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. We also have been very budget conscious in the whole process and the table was a great price for a larger size so this was a no-brainer.  The next main items I picked out are decor because I had some very specific ideas like a gallery wall and big mirrors! She's a wife!

Hi gems, after soooo much time away from the blog I am back with a life update! I have now been married for a month and had the most incredible honeymoon! We are just getting back home and resetting into a routine. The switch back to reality isn't an easy one but we are still on cloud nine from the events of the summer so that certainly helps! So with that said I think we are well overdo on a life update! Your girl is welcoming fall after a month in Europe and an incredible summer! Not only did my bestfriends get married in the most magical day, but we got to have a summer filled with so many celebrations. Summer 2024 will go down in the history books for sure as a summer of love. I also had another major life change earlier in the summer, I changed job! After five years at an agency, with the people I loved and who taught me so much. I got an opportunity at a company that is HUGE and rated a top company to work for. The job itself and benefits made it a deal I could not turn down....
