Casual to Festive AF

I'm back from my little blogging break and ready to help you all out! Here are easy ways to go from your normal vibe to beyond festive!

First of all, changing your accessories. Okay so just about everyone reading this blog owns a phone and therefore a case for it! It's super cheap and easy to change that case to a more festive one! I changed mine to a red and green plaid design. This way I'm not necessarily walking around with a glowing Christmas tree but a stylish festive case! Not to mention, these are so easy to get and inexpensive! I got mine for 9$ at forever 21, you can order them online for 2$ on Ebay, or get them at the mall! Most people own more red, green and gold accessories then they realize! My red Kate Spade purse, green mittens, scarves, etc. It's easy to use things you already own and make small changes that will go a long way into festivities. Go as wild as you want!

Second, it's so much fun to play with festive colors and designs in the holiday times, but you don't want the items you buy to only be used one month out of the year. By getting festive colors but reusable items you make sure that you will be ready for the holidays but not waste your money away! Pillows, throw blankets, even storage boxes that wold be white and gold could work AND be useful!People assume that green and red are the only way to go, but really gold, white, silver, bronze, red and green, not to mention all kinds of fun designs work too!

Next up, a super easy way to go from casual to Santa ready, is your mood! Honestly, being in the holiday spirit is something that makes or breaks your holidays. It helps your mood, your excitement, etc. And it's free. Just pick up small items like Christmas lights, have an advent calendar, a countdown to the big day, etc. and it really helps get your spirits up and ready to go.

Finally, the best way to be Christmas AF and not to mention this also boosts your mood: Christmas music! Have a playlist on in the background of your house, work, or in the car. This music is literally only relevant for one month, USE IT. I dare everyone to listen to a festive song and not bob along or smile, I promise it works!

 Hi Gems,  Wow it has been a while. The last time I wrote and published on here was in October which honestly feels like a lifetime. Furniture shopping

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. We also have been very budget conscious in the whole process and the table was a great price for a larger size so this was a no-brainer.  The next main items I picked out are decor because I had some very specific ideas like a gallery wall and big mirrors! She's a wife!

Hi gems, after soooo much time away from the blog I am back with a life update! I have now been married for a month and had the most incredible honeymoon! We are just getting back home and resetting into a routine. The switch back to reality isn't an easy one but we are still on cloud nine from the events of the summer so that certainly helps! So with that said I think we are well overdo on a life update! Your girl is welcoming fall after a month in Europe and an incredible summer! Not only did my bestfriends get married in the most magical day, but we got to have a summer filled with so many celebrations. Summer 2024 will go down in the history books for sure as a summer of love. I also had another major life change earlier in the summer, I changed job! After five years at an agency, with the people I loved and who taught me so much. I got an opportunity at a company that is HUGE and rated a top company to work for. The job itself and benefits made it a deal I could not turn down....
