Winter Tea Haul

Happy Winter my gems!
It's officially here, no way of hiding from the snow and cold now. This is definitely the season where David's Tea is a constant in my life and my trusty travel mug never leaves my hand. I figured since I love tea so much and I consume an outrageous amount of it I'd go through my top teas for the cold weather. So snuggle up to that fireplace with your cozy throw blanket and get sipping!
  1. Mother's Little Helper: The time change, lack of sun and exam season really make sleep something to be desired. This is why I am absolutely obsessed with Mother's Little Helper. It's a smooth, slightly fruity taste, that will help you sleep peacefully even if your alarm is set for 6 am.
  2. Cold 911 & Sore Throat Tea: The Winter also brings in runny noses and scratchy throats which is why I really love these two teas, they both taste amazing and I drink them even when I'm not sick. They both are low in caffeine too which means morning or night, you can take these to soothe your sniffles any time of day.
  3. Black Chai Tea: I specifically let this tea steep for an outrageous amount of time. The taste of Chai mixed with the strong aftertaste of black tea make a huge punch. The flavor is something I need to be in the mood for, but when I am I love the hardcore taste of this tea and it is so strong that it is super warming for the cold weather.
  4. The Buzz: Okay so here we go, it's cold, dark and 6 am and you roll out of bed, trying to wake up and as much as the other teas are great you need something to wake you up and fast! The Buzz definitely lives up to its name! The taste is strong, the caffeine too, and you'll be awake in just a few sips. This is the tea I depend on for those early, rough and dark mornings.
  5. Spiced Apple: If the Holiday season could be a flavor, for me this tea is it! Spiced Apple is cinnamon and comfort and everything that makes me love the holiday season. It is low caffeine so great for any time of day, add some eggnog to spice things up, or even to a drink on new year's eve! This tea is delicious and so versatile I LOVE IT- in case you couldn't tell!

 Hi Gems,  Wow it has been a while. The last time I wrote and published on here was in October which honestly feels like a lifetime. Furniture shopping

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. We also have been very budget conscious in the whole process and the table was a great price for a larger size so this was a no-brainer.  The next main items I picked out are decor because I had some very specific ideas like a gallery wall and big mirrors! She's a wife!

Hi gems, after soooo much time away from the blog I am back with a life update! I have now been married for a month and had the most incredible honeymoon! We are just getting back home and resetting into a routine. The switch back to reality isn't an easy one but we are still on cloud nine from the events of the summer so that certainly helps! So with that said I think we are well overdo on a life update! Your girl is welcoming fall after a month in Europe and an incredible summer! Not only did my bestfriends get married in the most magical day, but we got to have a summer filled with so many celebrations. Summer 2024 will go down in the history books for sure as a summer of love. I also had another major life change earlier in the summer, I changed job! After five years at an agency, with the people I loved and who taught me so much. I got an opportunity at a company that is HUGE and rated a top company to work for. The job itself and benefits made it a deal I could not turn down....
