My Tattoos

Hey Guys!
Today's blog is a super exciting one because I absolutely love tattoos! I currently have two, which are both super sentimental for me. I would love more in the future, but I really believe in tattoos being meaningful for me so I want to take my time.

My first tattoo, I got when I was 17. This was actually not as hard of a battle as I thought it would be to get my parents to agree to because the tattoo was a matching one for me and my sister. We decided to get matching tattoos and knew that we wanted them to be small and delicate. We decided to get two hearts intertwined together- yes cheesy- because we often times say we consider ourselves twins. The tattoo is on our ankles and we absolutely love the location because we can hide it easily with a sock, or show it off in sandals. Looking back, I might have made it even smaller, but I can't complain it's simple and perfect.

My second tattoo I got right after my 21st birthday and is a little bigger. It’s really thin writing on my rib cage which has an Italian saying on it and small flowers. The saying is a direct translation of "It is what it is", something my mom says CONSTANTLY. I also mentioned this in my "Best Advice I've Ever Gotten" blog so check that out for more! The tattoo itself, the language being Italian and the flowers are all representative of my family.

Right now, I really want a third tattoo! I think I'd want another matching sister one, but not sure what we would get. It would have to be small and delicate, but most importantly have a super important meaning.

 Hi Gems,  Wow it has been a while. The last time I wrote and published on here was in October which honestly feels like a lifetime. Furniture shopping

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. We also have been very budget conscious in the whole process and the table was a great price for a larger size so this was a no-brainer.  The next main items I picked out are decor because I had some very specific ideas like a gallery wall and big mirrors! She's a wife!

Hi gems, after soooo much time away from the blog I am back with a life update! I have now been married for a month and had the most incredible honeymoon! We are just getting back home and resetting into a routine. The switch back to reality isn't an easy one but we are still on cloud nine from the events of the summer so that certainly helps! So with that said I think we are well overdo on a life update! Your girl is welcoming fall after a month in Europe and an incredible summer! Not only did my bestfriends get married in the most magical day, but we got to have a summer filled with so many celebrations. Summer 2024 will go down in the history books for sure as a summer of love. I also had another major life change earlier in the summer, I changed job! After five years at an agency, with the people I loved and who taught me so much. I got an opportunity at a company that is HUGE and rated a top company to work for. The job itself and benefits made it a deal I could not turn down....
