Fall Obsessions
Fall has officially arrived in all
its glory! Which unfortunately means some rain but also means it’s time for a
Fall Obsessions segment! I've already done the Fashion Faves so I thought it
would be fun to do some fall must haves too!
Honestly, I'm a summer gal, but I
can't complain about the wool sweater and fluffy scarf weather. So here we are,
it’s cold season and as a person who gets sick (all the time), but still loves
the cool weather, I think a Fall Obsessions blog is a must.
David's Tea
I'm an obsessive tea drinker and
there are two that I always have on hand in the colder seasons of the
year. Cold 911 is a must for anyone who gets sick in the
colder weather, but also anyone who loves minty smells. This tea is so soothing
it smells just like Vaporub and is perfect for any days you're feeling like you
need a little boost. Sore Throat Rescue is my second fall
must, yes the title is literally promoting itself as a sore throat tea, BUT the
sweet vanilla and smooth flavors are so satisfying and bring in the very comfy
fall vibes we all know and love.
if you're not a super tea obsessed
human but would like to try tea, I definitely suggest any mint based teas they
are comforting and fresh without being overbearing in any way.

Mascara
When you wake up for school or work
and its pitch black outside, I don't know about you, but the last thing I want
to do is wake up an extra half hour early to do my face. That being said I also
don't want to look homeless, so Mascara is always a must, just to give me a
little fab touch without being an overboard look which requires getting out of
bed. Any go-to simple makeup look is key for fall, and also allows your fall
fashion to shine! Nail polish is also super fun in the fall because it allows
pops of color and is easy to do once a week! (Check out: Fall Fashion Staples
Blog)
Cozying up to a book, with your
fuzzy socks and a baggy sweater, is there anything better than that? I'm a geek
in every way possible, which including being a book worm. I love some cheesy
romantic books- shout out to Sarah Dessen and Jenny Han- but in the fall there’s
something about poetry that gets to me. The way a story can be told without
characters or a story line. The beauty and emotion are astounding, which go hand in hand
with my fall season emotional breakdowns. My top current pick is Rupi Kaur's
work “Milk and Honey”. Definitely check it out if you haven’t already! She
brings her life to her readers in a really beautiful way, it’s a super powerful
collection.
PS yes I have post-it’s in my
copy :)
Thanks guys!!
Talk soon,
