Recommended: Teen romances you need to read

The Vincent Boys: This two book series will hook you in and keep you right to the end. For anyone who wants a cute, easy read to fill their weekend these are the books for you. Abbi Glines does it again with this simple but addictive love triangle series between three kids who grew up together and the small town drama that surrounds them. The second book is a heavier, more twist and turns that shake the characters but keeps the easy read that we all love.

The Summer I Turned pretty: This series has been my all time favourite since I was 16 and here we are 9 years later and I still have the same love for it. This classic coming of age story brings you into a world that is so relatable it almost hurts. Belly has been friends with the same two boys her whole life, but the difference is now they both seem to notice her. Romance, teen drama and so much more bring this three bool series to a close as you grow up with the characters and truly are connected to their trials and tribulations.

She's with me: She's with me is another three book series that brings romance, teen drama and mystery together. Through flashbacks and hints, you get to build the past of the main character, you find out about her past trauma in small pieces which combined, clearly explain her life and relationships. Finding love with a boy who has his own traumas, and friends that support her, this book brings "Friends are my family" to a whole new level.

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. Low budget Fall (lockdown) date ideas

Hey gems! How is everyone doing? Recently I have had to get super creative when it comes to date nights especially with the new lockdown we are limited in where we can go. So of course date night often include walks because not only is it great to get fresh air but it helps with the mental components of being stuck inside. We get tired of them quick though and need to mix it up during the week so here is what I came up with! Turn TV into games: You can chose any show or movie you are watching and turn it into a game! For example, every time a certain character says their catch phrase you either take a bite, drink or do something silly that you both agree on! it can be something silly or answering any question! This basically gets as creative as you want to! Newlywed game (quiz) Basically any type of quizzing each other on how well you know each other! We did this with my sister and her boyfriend as a competition but it can be fun just between the two of you as well! This is super cute

Dear 2020, You certainly threw us for a loop didn’t you? We were all chanting about 20/20 vision and you thought “Ha just wait and see!”. Not only did you show us just how quickly we can lose everything we thought we would always have, you have given us a new appreciation for things we used to let go unnoticed.  In March, we all thought we were getting a fun two weeks of break, two weeks working from home, a little fun time. Boy oh boy did we learn pretty quick that we would be home and confided longer and with more restrictions added on weekly.  At first, part of me loved it. I’ve always been a home body but man did that get pushed to every limit possible. I never wished I can do little things like go to the movies or a mall without being terrified of how many items I’m touching more in my life. 2020 has given us the gift of perception.
