Fall Staples

 Hey gems, 

Some of you have been asking about my staples for Fall, both fashion and otherwise! I do love fashion in Fall but there have also been some other consistencies in my life this year that I noticed are really blooming in the fall season!

Tea: This is officially the season where I break out the tea! The season is getting cooler and tea becomes more and more necessary. My top teas are all from David's tea and I always love Cold 911, Sore throat rescue, peppermint and Mother's Little Helper. 

Sweaters: I am officially living in sweaters lately but I really can't spend a day without snuggling up to my warm sweaters. For work I use some cozy cardis and swap into the fluffiest options possible the second those zoom meetings are over! 

Shopping: Okay so hear me out, you all know I absolutely love to shop for myself but I also love to shop for others. With the holidays approaching I have the best excuse to shop and find sakes and deals that I know people will love to receive! This, aside from the bill, is the best thing about the holidays!

Walks: I have mentioned this before but I truly am loving walks lately especially with the beautiful Fall-esque colours and scenery! There is nothing quite better than enjoying a little fresh air and fall vibes.

Hallmark movies: Okay hear me out, yes the holidays aren't quite here yet but one good thing is that the hallmark movies come out as of November and it is the perfect time to find some peaceful moments to snuggle up to a feel good film and spend your evenings relaxing.

 Hi Gems,  Wow it has been a while. The last time I wrote and published on here was in October which honestly feels like a lifetime. As the holidays came and went, we rang in the new year and I find myself thinking a lot about not only lessons learned this year but the direction I want to aim for when going into 2024.  As you may know if you follow my other platforms, I am getting married this year which feels surreal! Furniture shopping

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. We also have been very budget conscious in the whole process and the table was a great price for a larger size so this was a no-brainer.  The next main items I picked out are decor because I had some very specific ideas like a gallery wall and big mirrors! Low budget Fall (lockdown) date ideas

Hey gems! How is everyone doing? Recently I have had to get super creative when it comes to date nights especially with the new lockdown we are limited in where we can go. So of course date night often include walks because not only is it great to get fresh air but it helps with the mental components of being stuck inside. We get tired of them quick though and need to mix it up during the week so here is what I came up with! Turn TV into games: You can chose any show or movie you are watching and turn it into a game! For example, every time a certain character says their catch phrase you either take a bite, drink or do something silly that you both agree on! it can be something silly or answering any question! This basically gets as creative as you want to! Newlywed game (quiz) Basically any type of quizzing each other on how well you know each other! We did this with my sister and her boyfriend as a competition but it can be fun just between the two of you as well! This is super cute ...
