Real Life

Hi gems,
It's been a while since I've written and it feels so good to be back. I have continuously been trying to find the time but unfortunately life has been so hectic that the blog has fallen behind!

I wanted to loop you all into the struggles that I have been dealing with recently. The truth is, November kicked my butt. I was exhausted constantly, moody, always waiting or a new day because every day had challenge after challenge and every time I thought things were getting better I would dip back into a bad period. One example would be about mid-month, it was Monday and I told myself that this as the fresh start, put last week behind me and start fresh. Next thing I knew I was slipping on a patch of black ice and hurting myself. Then I got sick, then I got sick again and on and on. There seemed to be no end to the long days, emotional evenings and constant anxiety.

It has definitely been a challenging few weeks and I finally feel like I am on the tail end of it, hopefully the holidays get me in a fresh mood and read for the New Year. The difficulty has been balance, which I have spoken about before on my blog but lately it feels like my life consists of work-eat-sleep-repeat and that has led me to a drained mental space. I need to push myself beyond the fatigue and live life a little more, take quiet time for me, and start enjoying my hobbies again.

I am so thankful for my family and friends who have been the greatest through this tough time, the tears and long evening rants. There was nothing better than coming home at the end of these long, difficult days and long commutes to a warm, safe and comfortable place.

I am starting to feel more and more back to normal, ready to take on the world and ready to take better care of myself. I want to not only focus on my mental health more in 2020 but also my physical and overall health as I continue to get sick constantly and it is such an annoyance!
I’m really excited to get back into the swing of things, blog and happiness both included so stay tuned for more blogs coming soon, new adventures and a lot of happy!!
