My 5 Year Plan

Image result for blogger lifeHey guys,

So as you all know, I'm in school and working toward my bachelor's degree. I love school, but as I move through my degree I see the future coming at me 100 miles a minute. So I thought it would be fun to share with you my goals and plans for the next 5 years, this may sounds kind of psycho in some parts but I love planning. It keeps me motivated so I have lots of details worked out.

First, within six months of my graduation, I'd love to get a job, this is a little tricky because I don't want to set unrealistic goals. It's not always easy to get a full-time job but I would love to be working and getting experience as soon as I graduate. That is also part of the reason why I started this blog. It gets me experience in writing and social media, all the while giving me time to focus on school and go at my own pace. Not to mention it's so fun and gives me a hobby to free my mind of stress (a little). My dream job would be something which involves social media, allows me to be creative and grow as I learn. I know that sounds vague, but I like leaving as many doors open as possible because I don't really know where I'm going.

Okay so next up is moving out. I LOVE living at home, my family is awesome and I'm lucky that I don't need to move out. I would IDEALLY work for a year or two full-time before moving out. That way I can have a decent nest-egg and still enjoy my mom's cooking!!

Once I have a job and move out, the next step is a no-brainer: PUPPY TIME. I have already planned out what kind of dog and what I would name him. Not to mention all the things about being a dog-mom that I love: Cuddles, my baby, no diapers and free reason to exercise! I've never had a dog but it's always been the plan in the future and I CANNOT WAIT!!!

I would also love to travel as much as possible in the next 5 years. I know that might not make sense because I plan on working hard at whatever job I end up getting, but it would be so great to travel in the next 5 years. I have a few places in mind that I'd love to go first but I want to travel all over the world! I would love to go to California for a summer, Hawaii, Australia during their summer (Our winter), and Fiji!

That's why I am keeping my five year plan as simple as possible, because if this blog was about a ten year plan boy it would never end! I would really love, at the end of five years to be settles into my own life. My independence be something that I am confident with. Working at a job that I love waking up for every morning, next to the man I love, with our dog-child ready to play.

Growing up is really hard, and not always discussed but I want, more than anything, to be happy and confident in every aspect of my life at the end of 5 fives from now.

Do you have a 5 year plan?
Talk soon,
T
xx
